|Occupational Health Services to Transition to Bull Run Family Practice in 2012|
Prince William Hospital's Occupational Health
Services program will merge with Bull Run Family Practice effective Jan. 2,
2012. Occupational medicine provides businesses with a full-range of prevention
and treatment services for occupational injuries and illnesses that reduce
work-related expenses. These services include physical examinations,
work-related injury treatment, drug and alcohol testing, and vaccinations.
"This transition offers multiple benefits for our Occupational Health
clients," said Melissa Robson, president of Prince William Hospital and chief
operating officer of the Northern Virginia Market. "Bull Run Family Practice
offers extended hours and more practice locations. Also, with 11 board-certified
physicians and four nurse practitioners, they will provide our community's
occupational health clients with a remarkable patient experience, in every
dimension, every time."
Bull Run Family Practice has three practice
locations: 8640 Sudley Road, Suite 203 in Manassas; 25055 Riding Plaza, Suite
220 in South Riding; and 12701 Marblestone Drive, Suite 130 in
Bull Run Family Practice joined Novant Medical Group, a
physician-led group, made up of experienced private-practice physicians, that
offers support, resources, and information for its partners, in January 2011.
