Attend a free seminar to learn about new treatment advancements! Don't let back pain keep you from the activities you enjoy. Join Deeni Bassam, MD to learn about the latest innovations, including the Mild procedure for lumbar spinal stenosis – a minimally invasive technique that helps relieve pain and allows patients to stand and walk for longer periods of time. Diabetes Mini-Seminars 

Meetings occur every-other-month on the third Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. A guest speaker will often present information and there will also be time for sharing and socializing. These mini-seminars are free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but encouraged. Call 703-369-8405 to register.

Blood Pressure Screenings 

Novant Health Prince William Medical Center's Fitness Center offers free walk-in screenings for blood pressure on the first Friday of each month from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Cholesterol Screenings

Prince William Medical Center's Fitness Center offers cholesterol screenings by appointment for $25. To make an appointment for cholesterol screening, call 703-369-8605.

Birthing Center tours: this comprehensive tour will familiarize you with the Hylton Family Birthing Center before your baby arrives.

Community safety classes: this program is designed to help you respond appropriately to emergencies.

Diabetes services: Prince William Medical Center offers a team approach to diabetes education. Its program, Living Well with Diabetes, is recognized by the American Diabetes Association.

Fitness classes: the Fitness Center offers a variety of exercise and health promotion programs designed to optimize your health and well-being.

Massage therapy: at the Fitness Center, all massage-therapy treatments are completed professionally and confidentially by a licensed massage therapist or a certified reflexologist.

Maternal and child health classes: all maternal and child health classes are taught by certified childbirth educators and Board-certified lactation consultants.

New volunteer introduction: the greatest people in the world are members of the Prince William Medical Center HealthCare Auxiliary. And we're looking for more caring, enthusiastic men and women to join us.

Nutrition services: patients of any age or medical condition meet one-on-one with a registered dietitian.

Personal training: Prince William Medical Center Fitness Center has personal training packages available to help you achieve your desired fitness level.

Support groups: Prince William Medical Center offers the community a number of support groups designed to provide information, comfort and friendship.
