Childbirth Preparation
This four-week course provides the expectant mother and her support person with information on pregnancy, labor, birth, breathing, relaxation and the postpartum period. Topics on medication, anesthesia and cesarean birth are also discussed. Bring three pillows, a blanket and a snack. (Note: a tour of the Birthing Center is not included with this class.)

Weekend Childbirth Preparation
Designed for busy couples unable to attend the four-week program, this two-day accelerated course covers the same principles taught in the four-week series but is completed in one weekend. This program provides the expectant mother and support person with information on the normal labor process, comfort techniques, pain management, and postpartum period. Other topics to be discussed include labor interventions, anesthesia, cesarean birth, and recovery. (Note: A tour of the Birthing Center is not included with this class.)

Baby Care Basics
This class is a must for parents expecting their first child. Learn about your newborn's appearance, diapering, bottle and breastfeeding, cord care, circumcision care, crying, comforting your baby and more. This class is taught by a registered nurse.
