VISITING HOURS AND POLICIES

Family members and friends are welcome to visit. Most patients enjoy having visitors. Patient care is our primary concern at Prince William Hospital. Visits should be brief and limited to one or two guests so patients can adequately rest and recover. There may be times that visits are at the discretion of the physician and nursing staff. We appreciate your cooperation in following the schedule:
Regular Visiting Hours:
11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Critical Care Unit:
Adults: Open visiting hours. Please call (703) 369-8160 before coming. Immediate family only. Children permitted on a case-by-case basis. Two visitors for 10 minutes only. The unit is closed to visitors from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
Center for Psychiatric and Addiction Treatment:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children: No one under 18 years of age is permitted. For the safety of our patients and their visitors, all visitor bags will be inspected.
Maternity:
The labor & delivery unit is limited to 3 individuals in the room at a time and the postpartum unit is limited to 4 visitors at a time. Fathers: Open visitation. No children under the age of 12 allowed, except siblings. Siblings must be accompanied by an adult.
Family and Friends: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. following delivery.
Pediatric Unit:
Parents: Open visitation. One parent may stay the night.
Siblings: Welcome with parent supervision.
