Teen Volunteer Program

Thank you for your interest in the Prince William HealthCare Auxiliary Teen Volunteer Program. Send in your application as soon as possible because only 60 applications will be considered for the teen program. All applications received after the 60 will be put on a waiting list. If an opening occurs, you will be notified in the order your application was received.

All applicants must be between 16 and 18 years old.

Step 1: Download application. Please complete the application and mail to:

Prince William HealthCare Auxiliary
Attn: Teen Volunteer Chairperson

Step 3: Upon receipt of your application, we will invite you and your parents or legal guardian to the Teen Volunteer Introduction Meeting. At this meeting we will discuss the commitment required by our volunteers to be in the program, and the various service areas available to teen volunteers. You will also sign up for a personal interview with our teen volunteer committee.

Step 4: Upon acceptance to our program, you will be required to attend an Orientation/Training Meeting. At this meeting you will learn about confidentiality, infection control, fire & safety, customer service, and much more. Your ID badge will be made, and your uniform (shirt) will be handed out to you. Lunch at this meeting is provided by the hospital.
